Deranged Records — Website

Our assignment for this project was creating a full identity and re-brand for Deranged Records. The Vancouver-based record label releases music ranging from raw, unmixed Garage recordings to polished, Juno-nominated masterpieces, primarily on vinyl. Staying true to their initial brand, but reaching out and creating something new and fresh, we executed the new Deranged brand from start to finish. We took artistic influence from the late 1970′s/early 1980′s rugged photocopied Xerox look and applied it to their website. As a punk rock music label, this look reflects the highly energetic music it releases. The website was created with Expression Engine in order to facilitate updating and website functionality.
